Lighting time: can be continuous lighting more than 12 hours
1.How are floodlights installed?
Floodlights are usually installed in a variety of ways, such as wall-mounted, recessed, ceiling-mounted and so on. Before installation, you need to choose the appropriate mounting accessories according to the type of fixture and installation location. Generally speaking, wall-mounted spotlights need to be fixed on the wall using expansion screws; recessed spotlights need to be pre-drilled on the mounting surface, then the fixture is embedded in the holes and fixed; ceiling-mounted spotlights can be fixed on the ceiling by screws or clips. When installing, make sure that the fixture is firmly installed and that the wiring connecting the power supply complies with safety regulations.
2. What is the life span of the light source in a floodlight?
The lifespan of floodlights varies depending on the light source used. Generally speaking, LED light sources have a longer lifespan, usually up to 50,000 hours or more, and if used for 8 hours a day, will last about 17 years. Traditional high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps have a shorter life span, typically around 10,000 - 20,000 hours. However, the actual life of the light source is also affected by the use of the environment, heat dissipation conditions, power supply stability and other factors. Under normal use conditions, reasonable installation and maintenance can extend the service life of the light source.
3.Do floodlights need regular maintenance?
Floodlights require regular maintenance to ensure that they work properly and last longer. Regular maintenance includes cleaning the surface of the lamps and lanterns of dust and dirt, check the installation of the lamps and lanterns fixed situation, check whether the power line is broken or aging, and so on. For outdoor floodlights, you also need to pay special attention to check its waterproof sealing performance, if any damage to repair or replace the seals in a timely manner, in order to prevent rainwater from entering the interior of the lamps and lanterns caused by short circuits or other malfunctions. In addition, regularly check whether the brightness and color of the light source is normal, if any abnormality should be timely replacement of the light source.
